Warranty: We offer a lifetime warranty against WHS.  Never buy from a breeder that doesn't offer this warranty; it is required of all licensed breeders.
 

Guarantee: We guarantee that all hedgehogs sold by us are in good health and free from any known defects.  The buyer must have the hedgehog examined by a veterinarian, licensed by the state of Florida and accredited by the U.S.D.A., within 5 calendar days of the date of purchase.  A copy of the final examination report must be sent to us within 2 calendar days of the exam.  Failure to comply will void any and all guarantees.
Note:  If a hedgehog sold by us should become ill, it must be vetted immediately.  We are not responsible for any medical expenses at any time.    

If a hedgehog sold by us should die, a necropsy must be performed by a Florida licensed and U.S.D.A. accredited veterinarian who is experienced with hedgehogs.  A copy of ALL documentation, including the formal necropsy report (stating the cause of death), must be sent to us.  If it is determined by the veterinarian (and stated on the necropsy report) that the cause of death was WHS or a genetic or congenital condition, the hedgehog will be replaced with one of equal value as soon as one is available.
We will not guarantee nor replace any hedgehog that has been treated with Ivermectin regardless of whether it is topically applied, injected or administered orally.  If a hedgehog is treated with Ivermectin and becomes ill or dies for any reason, our guarantee is null and void.  We will not offer a replacement for any hedgehog who has not been routinely offered a proper diet consisting of insects a minimum of 4 days a week.  We will not offer a replacement if the original hedgehog is a female that has been bred.  We will not replace any hedgehog that dies or becomes ill as a result of any form of neglect or abuse; including, but not limited to: exposure to improper temperatures, gastric/intestinal impaction from freeze dried insects or allergic reaction of any type. 

To the best of our knowledge, no hedgehog from us (or in the ancestry of our breeders) has presented with WHS.  In the event that a hedgehog sold by us, or in the lineage of our breeders, presents with WHS, our related breeder(s) will be retired upon notification.
Note:  It is very important for all buyers to notify the breeder when a hedgehog dies from WHS or any other congenital defect. 

Returns: While we would like to see every animal go to a forever home, we understand that sometimes circumstances can leave some pet owners with no choice but to re-home or return their pet.  Our buyers are encouraged to contact us first if they are unable to keep their hedgehog.
Our return policy is as follows:

• If a hedgehog is returned to us, in good health, within 30 days of the purchase date, we will refund 50% of the purchase price (shipping charges not included).
• After 30 days, no refund is given, but we will accept the hedgehog as a rescue.
  
  

Deposits/Payments: By making a payment, you are agreeing to our policies.  Deposits are non-refundable; please research hedgehogs thoroughly before placing a deposit.

• The deposit amount is $50.00 (+5% when using PayPal) and is deducted from the total price.
• Once a deposit has been received, the hedgehog will be marked Dep. Rec'd - On Hold for "your name".
• The hedgehog will remain On Hold until the remaining balance is paid and the hedgehog is picked up.##
• No hedgehog will be picked up until any/all pending payments have cleared.
• Deposits can be paid in person in cash, online using PayPal or you may mail a money order.  PayPal payments - add 5%.   We DO NOT accept checks …NO EXCEPTIONS.
• When a hedgehog is being shipped, shipping will not take place, nor even be scheduled, until payment in full is received and has cleared.

##Good Communication:  We are very accommodating about scheduling pick-ups/meeting with buyers.  We understand that immediate pick-up is not always possible.

• We allow up to 7 days from the day you place the deposit or the day the hedgehog is weaned for you to pick-up the hedgie.  If the hedgehog has not been picked up after 7 days, a  $15.00 per week sitting-charge will apply.
• You will be expected to respond (within 2 days) to email/phone communications from us, even if you cannot pick-up your hedgie right away.
• If the hedgehog is not picked up within 2 weeks of deposit/ready-to-go date, he/she will be marked as available and your deposit retained.
• Failure to maintain good communication (within 2 days of us contacting you) will result in forfeiture of your reservation on the hedgehog.

We reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone for any reason.

If you have placed a deposit and it is determined by us that the sale is not in the best interest of the hedgehog or either party, your deposit will be refunded.  This refund is ONLY in the event that it is our sole decision to cancel the sale.
